Why have a health check-up?
- To know the condition or state of one’s body.
- To prevent sickness or diseases that may happen unawares.
- To get early treatment when sickness or disease occurs.
Preparation Prior to Check-Up
- Get sufficient rest.
- Stop eating and drinking 10 – 12 hours before examination.
- Wear clothes that offer convenience for drawing blood from near the elbow area.
- If suspecting of being pregnant, then inform the official in advance prior to the check-up.
- In collecting urine, allow the first portion to drain out and collect during the middle portion while urinating.
- In collecting stool, please avoid food that is blood such as pork blood, duck blood, and blood salad at least 3 days prior to the collection of the stool, to be collected on the morning of the check-up in a container provided by the Hospital.
- If you have previous X-Ray films, please bring them with you every time for your own benefit.
- Please avoid consuming food and water at least 8 hours prior to check-up.
- Avoid alcohol 3 days prior to the health check-up.
- Please take care of your belongings. Wear loose clothing, no jewellery and easily removable footwear. Please do not wear contact lens on the day of Health Check-up.
- Avoid exercising before coming for check up.
- Please bring all your earlier (within 1-3 years) medical records and medical accessories if you have any like glasses, hearing aids, etc., when you come for the Health Check-up.
- If you are diabetic, avoid taking your insulin injections/anti-diabetic tablets on the morning of the Health Check-up. Please carry your insulin/anti-diabetic tablets which you can have before or after your breakfast in the hospital.
- Please carry other regular medication along with you, which can be taken as per the instructions by the consultant at the Wellness Department
- Please inform the Wellness Department in advance if you want any additional investigations or consultations to be done.
- Tests like X-Rays are not to be done if you suspect a pregnancy.
- Please bring your morning urine/stool sample on the day of check-up in the container provided by the hospital.
- Urine routine and PAP smear test cannot be done during menses (periods) for females.
- Company sponsored clients are requested to bring referral letter.
- Collection of summary reports: Wellness Clinic reception between 10 am to 5 pm.
- In case you do not wish to undergo certain test/s mentioned in the package, the money will not be refunded.
- All Health Check-ups are scheduled with prior appointments only.
- Appointments will be confirmed after receipt of advance payment.
- Minimum 10 – 12 hours of fasting is essential prior to the check-up. You may drink water.
- Get sufficient rest one day prior to the health check-up.
